Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari Users We have reports from persons who use Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari as their browser that text does not appear on certain pages, and some are completely blank. Let me assure you that there is text there. Here is the problem in a nutshell: The webpage manager we use is Microsoft's FrontPage, a fairly standard web builder. Front page uses the industry standard programming code for text colors and we have built our pages using black as the basic text color. Safari and Firefox interpret the underlying programming code as white. These are the only browsers we have found that does not interpret the programming code as black. Thus, Safari and Firefox display white text on white background. We have over 600 pages in this site, with most having some sort of text. While we can solve the problem by individually editing each page one at at time and changing the color of text to another color so that Firefox users can see the text, that is not a manageable or practical solution. If you run your cursor over a seemingly blank area, the text will appear. Example: Run your cursor here --> This text would appear to other browsers, but not for Firefox and Safari users. However, it might be easier to open dya.com with another browser, e.g. Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc. Sorry for any inconvenience. |
