Holiday Tournament

The 18th annual Holiday Tournament for boys and girls traveling basketball teams will be held December 11t - 13th, 2009. 

We will accept an EVEN NUMBER of teams in each pool on a first come, first in basis, until gym capacity is reached.

There are five divisions: Fourth grade boys (10 and under), fifth grade boys (11 and under), sixth grade boys (12 and under), fifth grade girls (11 and under), and sixth grade girls (12 and under).  A minimum of six teams in each division is required.  If we have enough teams (12 minimum) to break a division into A and B levels, we will make every effort to do that.  That has been the case in prior tournaments.

Games will be played at Dublin Middle Schools - Davis, Karrer, Grizzell, and Sells.  (Coffman High School floors may also be used, if necessary and available.)

Registration fee $240.00.  Please register before November 10th if at all possible.  This helps in planning and is much appreciated.  Deadline is November 24th.

Directions to Sites

Format is pool play one game Friday evening (start times each hour 5:00 pm through 10:00 pm) and two games Saturday (start times 9:00 am through 8:00 pm).  Running clock with 20 minute halves to keep games on schedule during pool play.   

Pool winners advance to single elimination play on Sunday afternoon.   Regulation clock with four 6-minute quarters on Sunday.  Depending on number of pools, there may be wild cards advancing to Sunday play.  

Members of each winning team and runner-up team will receive individual awards (up to twelve for each team).
