Ohio Cup

The Ohio Cup Team is an all-star team that competes in all-star tournaments.  This is a travel, tournament team.  Playing time will definitely not be equal, however best efforts will be made to ensure playing time for all players.

This is an open try out for all  5^th/6^th graders.  However, this is the next step up in lacrosse and is generally not for first year players, rather it is for the best players on each team. 

The team will be selected by an impartial selection panel that does not include any parents of players trying out. 

There is a separate fee to join the team, if selected, that pays for officials and tournament entry fees.  The fee for this year has not been determined, but is expected to be between $60 and $90.

The team will have a separate schedule from DYA. 

They will play in the Ohio Cup on June 6,7, and 8 at Hilliard Darby High School.  There is usually one game on Friday and two on Saturday in this double elimination tournament.  Sunday games depend on Friday and Saturday results.
