The Softball Seniors league includes players through grade 12.  As in the case of the 7th to 12th grade girls basketball league, Softball Seniors now provides playing opportunities for all senior high school girls.  As of 1998 the program stopped at eighth grade.  At that time there were a few high school players who expressed interest in playing summer softball, but did not have enough players to form an independent team for area high school leagues.  This league provides an alternative and an opportunity for those players seeking a recreation softball program.  It also provides a program for ninth graders who played last year, but would be closed out under the old program.

The league sizes for the current year are based on applications in house on January 31st.  Limited openings are left for late sign-ups in each league and will be filled on a first-come, first-in basis.  Once leagues are filled, applications will be placed on a wait-list with such applicants being put on teams to replace players who drop-out, move, become injured, etc.  League meetings for coaches are scheduled during the last two weeks in March.  Coaches are asked to notify players within 48 hours of the league meeting.
