Wiffleball League This is a new program for 2008. The Wiffleball League will be for children in pre-school who are at least 5 years old as of January 1 of the current school year. Games will be played in June and July. Players bring their own plastic bats. No restrictions, other than they must be plastic. No gloves or special shoes required. Six players per team. All players present will play in the field.

instructions. Program EligibilityParticipants must be in pre-Kindergarten during the current school year. All players must be at least 5 years old as of January 1st of the current school year. Participation in the program is open to boys and girls who attend Dublin City Schools or who reside within the City of Dublin or reside within the Dublin City School District. League size for current year will be based on applications in house on January 31st. Limited openings are left for late sign-ups in the league and will be filled on a first-come, first-in basis. Once league is filled, applications will be placed on a wait-list with such applicants being put on teams to replace players who drop-out, move, become injured, etc. League meeting for coaches is scheduled during last the two weeks in March. Coaches are asked to notify players within 48 hours of the league meeting. Games and PracticesPractices are from 5:45 pm until 7:00 pm Monday through Friday. May have practices from 7:00 to 8:00 pm on some weeks, depending on field availability. One or two practices or games per week (12 events are scheduled over a six-seven week period). Practices start the last week of May. Games are played at 6:30 pm Monday through Friday (one weekday game per week) and Saturdays beginning at 11:00 am. Saturday game times are 1.5 hours apart, e.g. 11:00am, 12:30 pm, 2:00 pm, etc. Game schedule generally begins the first Saturday in June and continues through the second week in July.
